1. Platform Overview

PwnHero is an educational platform designed to help users develop and enhance their cybersecurity knowledge through interactive quizzes, challenges, and learning modules. Our platform covers topics including networking, web security, cryptography, and reverse engineering.

By accessing or using PwnHero, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please do not use our platform.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years of age to use PwnHero. If you are under 18 years of age, we recommend obtaining consent from a parent or guardian before creating an account. A paid request must be made by someone legally able to enter the purchase agreement, or with a parent or guardian acting on their behalf where permitted by law.

By using the platform, you confirm that you meet this age requirement and have the legal capacity to agree to these Terms in your jurisdiction.

3. User Responsibilities

  • Provide accurate information when creating your account
  • Use the platform solely for educational purposes
  • Not attempt to circumvent any security measures or access unauthorized areas
  • Respect other users and maintain appropriate conduct
  • Not share or distribute platform content without permission
  • Complete quizzes honestly without using external assistance designed to cheat

4. Account Security

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. All activities that occur under your account are your responsibility.

If you suspect unauthorized access to your account, please contact us immediately. Any exclusion of liability for unauthorized use is subject to applicable law and does not exclude responsibility that cannot lawfully be excluded.

5. Free Website, Donations, and Paid Requests

The PwnHero website is free to use and has no checkout or payment button for paid study resources. Separately, users may arrange paid requests for university study resources with a PwnHero representative outside the website. These purchases are not donations or website subscriptions.

Before paying: Confirm the requested resource, availability, total price, delivery channel, and payment instructions with your representative. Payments may be made through an external Whop or PayPal checkout, or by direct cryptocurrency transfer as agreed. Do not send payment before your request has been confirmed.

Delivery: Resources are delivered digitally through the agreed channel: email, Discord, Reddit, or Telegram. Delivery time varies by request but will not exceed 24 hours after the request is agreed and payment is confirmed. If we cannot fulfill your paid request within that time, you may request a full refund.

7-day money-back guarantee: Every paid request is eligible for a full refund if you are not satisfied and request it within 7 days of purchase, including after a resource has been delivered. This applies to Whop, PayPal, and direct cryptocurrency payments. Email pwnhero@protonmail.com or contact the representative who handled your request. Include your transaction reference and enough information to identify the purchase; never send full card details, passwords, or wallet recovery phrases.

Refunds are returned through the original payment method where possible. For direct cryptocurrency payments, we will confirm the refund address and network with you. A cryptocurrency refund is a separate transfer; the original blockchain transaction cannot be reversed. Refund processing and receipt times depend on the payment provider or network. This guarantee does not limit any mandatory consumer rights or applicable payment-provider dispute rights.

Donations: Voluntary donations support the free website and do not buy resources or unlock features. Donations are generally non-refundable except where required by law; the paid-request refund guarantee above applies to purchases, not donations.

6. Third-Party Services

External payment and communication services have their own terms and privacy policies. Whop and PayPal handle payments made through their checkout services. Email, Discord, Reddit, and Telegram may be used to arrange requests, deliver resources, and provide support.

PwnHero remains responsible for its resource descriptions, delivery commitments, and refund guarantee. Third-party service availability and processing times are outside our control. See our Privacy Policy for details about request and payment information.

7. Intellectual Property & User-Generated Content

PwnHero operates as an interactive computer service provider and platform for User-Generated Content (UGC). We respect the intellectual property rights of others and expect our users to do the same. By uploading content, including questions, explanations, study guides, code samples, or other educational materials, you retain your copyright, but you grant PwnHero a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, display, and distribute that content on the platform.

We do not guarantee that every user submission has been reviewed. We may review, remove, or restrict content that infringes rights or violates these Terms. Any limitations of liability under the Digital Millennium Copyright Act depend on meeting the applicable legal requirements; they are not automatic. The core platform engine, design, and code remain the intellectual property of PwnHero. Reproduction or commercial use of our proprietary platform architecture is prohibited without written consent.

8. User Content Warranty

By submitting or uploading content to PwnHero, you warrant and represent that:

  • You own the intellectual property rights to the content or have obtained all necessary permissions and licenses to share it.
  • The content does not infringe upon the copyrights, trademarks, or trade secrets of any third party (including universities, professors, or publishers).
  • You will not upload active, current, or stolen university exams, proprietary lecture notes, or any material that violates your institution's academic integrity policies.
  • You will not upload actual questions from any professional certification exam (including but not limited to CompTIA, Cisco, EC-Council, (ISC)², ISACA, GIAC, or OffSec exams) that are protected by non-disclosure agreements, trade secrets, or intellectual property rights.

9. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless PwnHero, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses, including reasonable legal and accounting fees, arising out of or in any way connected with your access to or use of the platform, or your violation of these Terms (including any claims regarding copyright infringement related to content you have uploaded).

10. Educational Disclaimer

PwnHero provides a platform for users to share educational content for learning purposes. We do not guarantee specific outcomes such as higher grades, exam results, certifications, job placements, or skill mastery.

The skills and knowledge you gain depend on your dedication and practice. The user-contributed materials hosted on the platform are meant to supplement, not replace, formal education or professional training.

These requirements also apply to paid requests. Resources must be lawfully supplied and used for personal study in accordance with your institution's academic integrity rules. Payment does not transfer copyright or authorize redistribution, submission of someone else's work as your own, or use of restricted exam materials.

11. Limitation of Liability

PwnHero is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not guarantee uninterrupted access or error-free operation.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, PwnHero shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform.

12. Service Availability

We strive to maintain high availability but may occasionally need to perform maintenance or updates. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any aspect of the service at any time.

We will make reasonable efforts to notify users of significant changes or scheduled downtime when possible.

13. Account Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, engage in fraudulent activity, or abuse the platform in any way.

Automated Inactive Account Cleanup: To maintain system hygiene, optimize database resources, and minimize unnecessary retention of inactive credentials, accounts with zero learning or platform activity (no completed quizzes, exam attempts, file requests, or arcade game scores) and no login activity for 48 hours or more following registration may be automatically and permanently deleted without prior notice.

You may choose to stop using PwnHero at any time. Account deletion requests can be made through your profile settings or by contacting us.

14. Modifications to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date.

Changes apply prospectively and do not reduce delivery or refund rights for purchases already made. We will provide additional notice or obtain agreement where required by law. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance only to the extent permitted by law.

15. Applicable Law and Consumer Rights

These Terms apply subject to applicable law. Nothing in these Terms excludes mandatory consumer protections, limits rights that cannot lawfully be waived, or prevents you from bringing a claim before a court or authority with jurisdiction.
